- Expiration Dates: ranging from May 22, 2026 through February 5, 2028
Distribution: Products were sold under the Breeder's Edge and Shelter's Choice brands by Revival Animal Health, LLC.
Health Risks:
Pets: Elevated Vitamin D levels can cause toxicity in dogs, affecting calcium balance and potentially leading to kidney dysfunction. Insufficient Vitamin D may result in improper bone development. Symptoms include vomiting, loss of appetite, increased thirst and urination, excessive drooling, and weight loss. Severe cases may involve kidney dysfunction, persistent lethargy, or worsening symptoms — contact a veterinarian immediately if these appear.
Humans: No human health risks have been reported in connection with this recall.
Actions:
Stop Use: Immediately stop feeding the recalled products to any animals. Do not sell or donate them.
Disposal/Return: Store the product securely away from pets, children, and wildlife until it can be returned or properly disposed of. Return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
