     • Best-by / expiration: September 2027
     • UPC: 739598900750
     • Distribution: 34 bags distributed from Minnesota, sold in retail stores in Wisconsin after September 23, 2025

Health Risks:

  • Pets:
    Possible symptoms include lethargy, diarrhea (sometimes bloody), vomiting, fever, decreased appetite, or abdominal pain. Infected pets may also act as silent carriers.

  • Humans:
    Potential health effects include nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, and fever. More serious conditions (e.g. arterial infections, endocarditis, joint pain) are rare.

Action Steps:

  • Stop Use: Immediately discontinue feeding any of the affected lots to pets.

  • Disposal: Destroy or otherwise discard the treats in a way that prevents access by children, pets, or wildlife. Do not donate or share. Wash and sanitize pet food bowls, cups, containers, and any surfaces that may have had contact.
