Issue: Potential contamination with Salmonella bacteria.

Affected Lots: Package sizes: 10 lb and 25 lb bags, Best-by date: October 28, 2026, Approx. 4,300+ pounds of product affected.

Health Risks:

Pets:
Dogs consuming contaminated food may develop lethargy, diarrhea (sometimes bloody), vomiting, fever, decreased appetite, and abdominal pain. Some pets may show no symptoms but still carry and spread the bacteria.

Humans:
People handling contaminated pet food or exposed surfaces risk Salmonella infection, with symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, and fever. Higher risk for young children, elderly individuals, and those with weakened immune systems.
